About HACHIEN-JYUKU

"HACHIEN-JYUKU" is a sword performance school that focuses not only on the technique of the sword, but also on the "beauty of the heart" that brings out the charm of the actor (human being).
We teach practical sword performance techniques, traditional Japanese dance (Shinbuyo), and how to become more aware and attractive as an actor.
The class can also be used as a hobby for non-actors. Students from elementary school to senior citizens are welcome to join our classes.

Advanced members of "RIN-PA", the female sword performance team, will serve as instructors and provide gentle guidance.

In addition to classes, the school offers opportunities to perform in regular events and in film and video productions produced by affiliated companies.

Entry Requirements

■Eligibility
Basically: Healthy people over the age of 10

■Practice days
Usually every Monday or Wednesday (changes every other week) from 19:00 to 21:00 in the evening

■Practice Location
Mainly at studios in Kuramae, Okachimachi and Sugamo, Tokyo

■Class Fees
First trial class is free.
One lesson fee
　High school students and above: 1,500 yen
　Junior high school students and younger: 1,000 yen
No entrance fee
When you officially join, you will need to purchase sports safety insurance (1,850 yen per year for high school students and above, 800 yen per year for junior high school students and below).

■Members-only website and shared LINE group
Members can share training videos and other information on the members-only website and share various information on the LINE group.

After completing the intermediate level of training, students can take intermediate and advanced lessons with master Hiryu Shiden (representative of Tokyo Kenbu Kai Edge - Shiden Ryu, Master of "RIN-PA").
Intermediate and advanced classes are held on different days and times.
